Screening day rules

What is the cut-off mark?

Only candidates with 200 or more in JAMB could take the screening. After the screening, all candidates with a 50% cumulative score and above are eligible to be considered for admission, in line with the recommended guidelines for admission. This is the university's standing rule, not a one-year figure, and it is stated in its results announcements, for example the one of 9 September 2025. That rule gives no other figures: each department then applies its own, usually higher, cut-off, which changes every year, so check your course with the university.

In that announcement the university said results were sent to candidates' pages on the UNIBEN portal and that candidates should disregard any “NOT ADMITTED” note on a result slip while admission was in progress. Read the university's announcement. Work out your own aggregate with the aggregate calculator.
