UNIBEN Extends 2026/2027 Post-UTME Registration Deadline to July 17
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially extended the registration deadline for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise. Prospective candidates now have until Friday, 17th July 2026 at 11:59 p.m. to complete their applications on the UNIBEN Post-UTME registration portal.
What Changed β And What Didn't
The registration deadline has been extended. The screening exercise has not.
Screening still begins on Monday, 27th July 2026. There is no change to the examination schedule. Candidates should treat the extra registration time as additional preparation time β not as a reason to delay studying.

All registered candidates are expected to reprint their screening slip from Wednesday, 22nd July 2026. Your screening slip will contain:
- Your examination date
- Your examination time
- Your examination venue

UNIBEN has advised all candidates to:
- Arrive at your examination venue at least one hour before your
scheduled time
- Do not bring mobile phones, calculators, or any unauthorized items
into the examination hall β they will not be permitted
